The Prophecies II

A New Collection of Nostradamian Prophecies

Nostradamus penned a series of prophecies that reached far beyond his own era—some of which appear to speak directly to the world we live in today. This publication builds upon that legacy, offering Nostradamian prophecies that stretch even further into the future.

For anyone with a genuine interest in what lies ahead, this is an essential read.

Within these pages, you'll find compelling visions of the future—offered not as absolute predictions, but as insights to help us reflect on our present, better understand ourselves, and perhaps catch a glimpse of what may come.

If you've read Les Prophéties by Nostradamus, consider this volume its spiritual successor—a continuation of the journey he began centuries ago.

Never Before Seen Prophecies for the 21st Century and Beyond

The Prophecies II was first published in 2023 and is the work of an anonymous author writing under the pseudonym B McRae. As explained in the book’s preface:

"All I will say on this is that I am just one individual amongst seven billion other individuals. You could pass me in the street and not know who I am, just as I would not know who you are. I prefer it that way. I think of myself as the lucky ticket holder who won the lottery and now I have chosen to share my winnings with the world."

The Prophecies II contains 200 original prophetic verses, crafted in the spirit of Nostradamus and extending far into the future. Each prophecy is presented as a quatrain (a four-line poem), faithfully mirroring the poetic structure employed by Nostradamus centuries ago. The book includes the first two ‘centuries’ of quatrains, with the intention of eventually producing ten centuries in total—one thousand prophecies altogether. In the author's own words:

"These first two centuries have taken approximately nine months to complete. Sometimes upwards of twenty have come in one day; other times, it can be a week or two between ‘inspirations’. One thing is for certain—it’s a tiring process. As such, I don’t know how long it will take to produce the next eight centuries, but I promise they will be forthcoming."

To read all 200 quatrains, you'll need to purchase the full volume. However, eight example prophecies have been provided below to offer a glimpse into the unique vision and style of The Prophecies II.

I.
With careless want they do abandon;
They strip the city of lead and copper.
Ships shall serve as their familial stand in
And those beyond shall remain as pauper.

II.
The polis of Sao Paulo remembers
A time of deeper national contact.
It will be forgotten come December;
No one recalls who first attacked.

III.
The armies of ten worlds prevent
What would be twenty's worst defeat.
Though in despair it is well meant,
Decades are needed to tally the receipt.

IV.
Two brothers and a sister lose their youth,
Cast as they are into the mud.
Another's lies and gross untruths
Will see the puddles filled with blood.

V.
One nation prays for rain, but the skies reject.
Neighbours refuse to share their catch.
Their own people they intend to solely protect,
But that nation its forces it will soon dispatch.

VI.
The sun burns a hole in the Southern island -
The new bishops claim it is incrimination.
Lakes appear in the desert highland -
The new bishops claim it is merely gestation.

VII.
Green, yellow and red flies at half-mast -
A nation on its knees facing defeat.
Too much time living in the past
And allowing their forces to become obsolete.

VIII.
At the highest of tables a new god shall be installed.
On the biggest of screens he shall be projected.
A small group fights to see the ascension stalled.
From the cathedral of light they shall be ejected.

Who Was Nostradamus?

Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, was born in December 1503 in the village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France. He was a French astrologer, apothecary, and physician, but is most famously remembered for his work Les Prophéties (English: The Prophecies)—a collection of cryptic, poetic quatrains that many believe foretell future events.

The Prophecies was published in several instalments between 1555 and 1558, with a complete posthumous edition released in 1568. This final compilation includes a total of 942 quatrains, arranged into ten ‘Centuries’—nine containing 100 verses each, and one with 42.

Although Nostradamus produced other medical and astrological works, only The Prophecies has stood the test of time. The book has been republished over 200 times and has inspired more than 2,000 commentaries. Its enduring popularity is often attributed to the absence of specific dates in the predictions and the poetic ambiguity of the language—features that invite interpretation across many different historical contexts.

While many scholars dismiss his writings as vague or coincidental, Nostradamus still has legions of followers who believe his prophecies genuinely foresaw key world events. Examples often cited include:

Interest in Nostradamus’s work has remained especially strong in the 20th and 21st centuries, amplified by the rise of the internet and digital publishing. His life and writings have been the focus of countless books—both fictional and academic—as well as documentaries, films, and online analyses. Over 450 years after they were first penned, the enigmatic verses of Nostradamus continue to spark fascination and debate around the world.
